VISUAL IDENTITY
The design was very clear from the outset: minimalist, elegant and as uncluttered as possible. The photos had to 'breathe' and be the elements that stood out the most! To accentuate the spaces and links between the photos, I emphasised the floating effect of the photos with a parallax effect. I wanted lnacarla's fluid creative spirit as a photographer to come through first. I also chose an original and elegant font that matched with lnacarla's personal style.
What did I learn?
Collaborate closely with a profesionnal photographer
It was the first project where I got to work in the creative world. Following instructive exchanges with the client, I was able to develop my eye for aesthetics. As a front-end developer, it was a real game changer!
Knowing what to show
Working with a photographer, I learnt that you have to show the most relevant images for each project and shoot to capture the attention of your target visitors (models, agencies and professional photographers).
Choosing the right motion design techniques
This project is, above all, a symbol of my first steps into motion design and design in general, and it's very easy to get lost among the many motion design techniques. I had to test and experiment with numerous techniques before stumbling upon the right animations.
